Partners for the Road training session

The Shared Language Program leverages learning and mutual acquaintance between Arab and Jewish educators to new levels.

About 90 Arab and Jewish teachers met this week at the Partners for the Road training session, as part of the Common Language Program.

Collaborations, acquaintance and in-depth discussion of intercultural issues were the core topics in a session that brought together the program teachers from the Jewish society who teach spoken Hebrew in the Arab schools, with their accompanying teachers and mentors in these schools.

The session was facilitated by the faculty from the Department of Education at the Arab-Jewish Center for Peace, and led by the Givat Haviva program staff: Nasreen Saif, Alaa Ismail and Efrat Polak, together with the representative of the Ministry of Education, Ms. Michal Yifrach.
